In the listing they want 4000, but in his little description/listing, he wants 4500?

Didnt catch that. However, I like the fact he's advertising it as an import, when you can't even legally import a 1998 car yet....only up to 1997 this year.

And why would it be LHD from Japan with a JDM front end?

Just to point out a genuine fact - You realize Japan also import cars right?
And that Acuras aren't sold in Japan?

Its possible that this car was imported to japan, then re-imported to the states.

I very highly doubt that happened.

Plus, I emailed the seller and asked if he had the import papers and he replied saying he lost them.

Seriously, with photos that poor, and an ad written that badly, what would you think is really going on?

if it has a JH vin code then technically it was imported =P but mostlikely its a GS with a JDM front clip

also, id stay away from riced civics or tegs =P unless you know exactly what you are getting into.

May be it's an older person who was told it was from Japan, and he believes them because the front end looks nothing like a usd integra. Or may be he thinks people will fall for the jdm hype like many kids fall for, just like the eBay crap that they claim it's jdm but made in china or it's a usd part.

That alone might make it worth someone just for the unibody if the rest of it is clean/rust free.
