I am sure you all have seen the buzz on facebook about this whole thing and i am wondering what everyones thoughts are on this? Personally, I fully support this guys mission and agree with everything he is trying to do here. What that sack of shit kony did was wrong and if he plans to do it i will be sure to take a nice long piss on his grave when he kicks the bucket. Personally on my dad's side I am half Liberian..and if some of you on here know: That place became infamous after Charles Taylor came to prominence in the early 90s.

The scary part : My mom knew of him thru my own father (She mentioned that he went to Howard or Harvard details are a bit vague) not to say that my dad ever took part in any of the crap that guy did to his own countrymen and turning children into child soldiers of war with AK47s.

No desire to ever go there because I don't know if I'd ever make it back alive.

I don't talk to my old man anymore due to my personal differences from him..hell I don't consider him a dad.

I can't say Taylor was as bad as Joseph Kony but he did it in terms of greed, this guy however is just on an ethnic destruction.

I watched half of this video this morning before I left for work..and I shared it with my friends on FB..only hope that it can still spread further.

you realize hitler is responsible for the deaths of well over 11 million people, right? not to say this guy doesnt deserve every bit of justice hes got coming to him, but really. youre comparing the turbo inline six of evil with the top fuel dragster of evil.

I'm always leery of those not-for-profit organizations. Not saying that this guy shouldn't be brought to justice. I'm just saying that paying $225, for the KIT, to a not-for-profit organization is questionable as to where it is going to end up!

I would have to do a bit more research into where the money is going and to whom they are funding on the other side. Funding another dirty army over there, isn't exactly what I would call constructive. In the end possibly trading one for another is dumb!

by most sources, ~30% of the money they receive actually makes it to uganda, and most of it goes into the ugandan military, which is supposely nearly as bad as the rebel group theyre trying to bring down (reports of rape, looting, etc)

Program and administrative expenses account for 9m of the 14m$ theyve raised.

all of the trips to africa, filming equipment, editing, etc is all covered under this ridiculous budget they have set.

and theyve been accused of fraud , dont cooperate with the BBB, have a low rating on charity navigator, and have never been audited externally.

it does rank up there, yes, but but it still doesnt even come close to hitler or the government influenced deaths in the soviet union and 20th century china. to be honest, africas just fucked and has been fore a while. its gonna take a long time and a LOT of effort to right the wrongs of european colonization and decolonization.

And I have always had a soft spot for kids, always enjoyed playing with them and talking with them. The african government doesnt give a fuck nor will they ever! look at hotel rwanda. They had a raight genocide going mixed in with civil war and the rebels were hacking people up left and right. Government didnt do shit, it took the UN going in there and putting an end to that shit. all the other problems in Africa, where was the government then? The African government is basically useless. Kony is a prime example. They try to arrest him he gets away goes into hiding and hasnt been seen. let some shit like that happen here and well be in marshall law!
