So a week and a half ago my 93 del Sol Si, with 335k miles, quit running. I didn't feel like putting any more money or time into it so I pushed it into the street in front of my house. A few days go by and then a neighbor threatens to hit it because it is parked in the street, then my wife found a letter from our home owner's association saying that cars that do not run can not be parked in the street. This was last Wednesday.
Fast forward to Saturday (yesterday). I decide to put it up on CL for sale. I take a few pics and finally get around to posting the ad last night around 9 PM. Within 5 minutes I have 3 different people texting me and have answered about 6 calls about it. One guy wanted to look at it this morning (Sunday), he asked for my address and said he would call before he came by. About 9:30 I get a call from a guy that said he has cash and a tow truck ready and will come pick it up right away, I say okay. He says he will be there in 45 minutes.
Around 10 PM I go out to make sure I have everything out of it and I find some guy trying to open the driver's door (I live in a nice and quiet neighborhood). I ask him if I can help him and he replies that he called me earlier and was going to come check it out in the morning but decided to come by tonight (he never called me back to inform me about coming by). I tell him that it is sold and a guy is on his way with a tow truck. He keeps asking me if I will sell it to him and that he has cash but he is lowballing me. I keep telling him no that it is sold. He says that he wants to wait until the buyer shows up with a tow truck and money. So I go inside and call the buyer back to ask where he is and he is 10 minutes away. I go tell the guy that the buyer is almost here so he can leave, but he won't leave.
Finally, the buyer shows up and pays for the del Sol and I sign the title over to time however his friend that has the tow truck is a running a little late. I then tell the guy in his truck that the car is sold and I no longer own it, to which he replies that the tow truck isn't there to get it so he will wait. I then politely but firmly tell him that the car isn't mine and that he needs to leave, and thankfully he does. My wife was freaking out the whole time and was about to call the police.
I didn't realize that there was that much interest in a 20 year rusted del Sol that didn't run.

-nice guy with cash and a buddy with a tow truck calls and wants to come pick it up that night
-go to check to make sure all my stuff is out of the car and creepy guy is out there trying to get into my car
-creepy guy doesn't want to leave until tow truck shows up even though I no longer own the car
-I politely but firmly tell the creepy guy that he needs to leave
