This was actually said to me tonight, I got stopped in front my apartment because apparently my car is too 'loud'.

I don't get it.

So I rebuffed:Harley's have loud pipes, as do Mustangs, Camaros and ANY other V8 powered vehicle out there.

His answer? Refer to the quote above

Did not know the legal decibel limit (it's found out it's 78 dbs) and tried to feed me a lame excuse.

In the end I didn't get a ticket more or less a warning..but a stupid one at that.

So all you WS2 owners..beware.

go to Db reader and get your exhaust tested. keep paperwork in your car. if they say its too loud have the paper ready on your dash or seat. give to them to read. done

man i made a thread of the summer time about an ahole neighbor across the street revving his motorcycle engine at 2 in the morning and he doesn't get into trouble but as soon as a honda with an aftermarket exhaust steps on the gas a little, we get pulled over. The general consensus was that cops generally have Harleys and muscle cars..

I have a test pipe, but trust me Accrdwgnguy (Eric) has heard my car, and it's not loud at all. I don't like loud obnoxious exhausts.

I got pulled over for my WS2 last month. It wasn't even loud. They saw the muffler with its 3in tip and they automatically thought its loud. 75 dollar ticket later my exhaust is still on. Eff them!

i dont have a ws2.but i have a cheap ebay exhaust and i never get pulled over for it..mines just as quite if not even quieter than a ws2.what im trying to say is it all depends on what kind of cop you get and what city you'r in.

I dont even have a muffler just header gutted cat no resonator and a strait pipe. I never get pulled over.

Damn, in Cali it's 90 db. I got pulled over for my stock muffler after I got my cb7. Didnt get a ticket just a warning. Most cops hate honda's. Plain & simple.

I've had my WS2 on for about a year now and never got pulled over. I used to have a Pacesetter Monza on my old coupe though and I got a ticket for it. Strange considering the WS2 is a bit louder than the monza...in any of my experiences at least.
