Also, look into the Droid bionic. I went from Android to apple iPhone and regretted it. Traded the iPhone back. It's like going back to a blackberry. You will feel like you're in prison, phone wise. I stay away from Motorola phones, mostly; unless it's a high end phone. The new razr is one of the best phones that Verizon has right now. I'm a big fan of HTC, but as we know it, Apple sued the crap out of HTC. HTC will be removed from the American market soon.

I would also stay away from anything with an amoled screen.

I had the original Razr flip phone, and it was the worst phone I've ever owned... I am forever soured on that name! It would be as if Ford released the best car ever and called it "Escort"... I wouldn't touch it.

What happened between Apple and HTC? I haven't heard that story.

my brother had the original Razr too and went through like 4 or 5 phones because they constantly broke on him. i wouldn't expect they did any better with their new ones.

Specs are one thing... but my opinion will be made when they're all still working a year from now!

Idk how you guys treated your razr back then but my mom had one, before i got my own phone plan, and she never had any issues with it. At the time she thought it was the coolest phone bc of how thin it was.

^^^i agree. my brother treated his phone 10x better then i ever did (i never owned a razr myself) and it never lasted a year. ALSO one of my friends from college had one as well and had a ton of problems with hers too. who gives a shit about specs if it won't last a year being extremely careful with it!!!!

Now you guys are scaring me away from all things Motorola. They also make the Droid 3 and the Bionic, lol.

My current phone is an almost-2-year-old HTC Eris. Aside from the lag time at high texts, strange occassional restarts and the fact that it's 2-years old, it's been a good phone.

So now it's looking like a toss up between the Nexus and the iPhone.

I have nothing against the iPhone, Im just a fan of customizability. I like being able to DL songs to my phone for free or not have to route all the songs on my PC to iTunes then to my phone. I like being able to chop up a song, be it 3 seconds or 30 seconds and make it a ringtone. I like being able to SYNC my contacts with thier Facebooks.

It's the little things like that.

Had the iPhone for 72 hours and im thinking about trading it back.

I like the games and the ability to video call but i miss my music and im already starting to notice the lack of customizability.

The only things that attracted me to the iphone were apps/games, fluidity and the fact that it can hold, literally, 10s of thousands of text messages without skipping a beat. My droid lagged after only 1500-2000. I think a faster processor would fix that though.

Im keeping my eye on the Nexus and Verizons GS2 phone, whichever one that is. Maybe the razr and maybe even the Droid 3. The latter being my last choice.

Ive actually just done some review reading and Im really liking the Rezound. It sounds like the perfect phone FOR ME. The nexus is cool and all but im still not a fan of no removable memory and theres a lot of issues with battery and software.

Plus the Rezound supposedly comes with Beats by Dre headphones.
