Ah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honda what are you doing!

For a "new generation" the changes are very minor.. Same thing Honda did with the 2012 Civic, and look how successful that was lol...... Minor changes and I am going to guess the quality will be down again... F'in clueless..

I even have the current gen Accord and I am seriously doubting my next new car will be a Honda with all the other options out there these days...

The picture is the "concept" also so it will be toned down more and be even closer then the current!

Good god. They're running out of original design ideas.

It's a concept. I'd rather have a Kia Accord than a Ford DBS.

        1993 Honda Accord LX 2004-2009
        1996 Honda Civic LX 2009-2012
        2012 Kia Optima LX 2012-2013
        2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 2013-2018
        2007 Honda Fit Sport 2017-2017
        2018 Honda Accord EX-L 2.0T 2018-20XX

Yeah a concept... It will be more "extreme" then the production model due in MONTHS... Its basically going to be a facelift like they did with the Civic

You can say what you want, but I find the fact that it's similar to the 8th gen a GOOD thing. They took a good design, and made it look better. The goofy hood line from the 8th gen is gone, so is the never-ending character line from the 8th gen. I like the arch over the rear wheel. The rear end is much tighter and better looking. Overall, I think it keeps the Accord Coupe identity, and turns it up a notch.

Clearly Honda no longer "gets it". Lazy designs, uninspiring drive trains, and using cheaper materials while charging the same price seem to be the new corporate culture.

The new Ford Fusion looks stunning! Clearly with Alan Mulally at the helm of Ford things have turned around in a big way. Also, the Fusion has some of the MOST comfortable seats ever, especially in leather! I wouldn't even step foot on a Honda lot these days if I was shopping for a new car. Other manufactures produce better looking cars with more features and are just as reliable as a Honda.

that's what happens when the whole corporation is being influenced by Honda of North America. it looks like everyone left gm, ford and Chrysler and went to work for Honda. It really brakes your heart

I honestly cant form an opinion on this "concept". I like it in a way and in another I dont. I like the rear end but I dont like that front end one bit!!!! I think its over done and its too shiny(too much chrome)
I fly by like the coupe grew wings!!!

And this is why I love Jalopnik:

I definitely agree it's harsh but yeah..I feel the same way. Honda is really losing it's path.

The cut production of the Type R moniker (which made it a household name..hell even eBay) , stopped producing the world's most reliable supercar (NSX) which is now coming back as a hybrid and ultimately axed the much beloved s2000.

If Soichiro Honda was alive to witness this...he'd be beating the crap out of the current CEO with his cane.

As a loyal Honda enthusiast and owner I am really disappointed in what they're churning out lately. The Civic was so badly compared to the last generation that it's actually going back for a slight refresh (something really early in a newly designed models debut).

                              The only models I like?

Odyssey : Although it could've used a bump in power it actually looks NOTHING like the last generation.

CRV: I was a little on the fence at first but it actually grew on me

Everything else...eh, save for the CR-Z nothing is really fun with the current line up Honda has.

Si just has a swap (if you really think about it) and yeah...that's it. No more sporty models (CR-Z probably doesn't fit that margin at all to some).

                              Come on Takanobu Ito:

Bring back the glory days of the company. Stop sleeping on Nissan and Toyota, they're making this once glorified company look like something from the distant past.

                              Shit.
