well I mean the mom took it a little to far. I can understand being pissed about the car in the driveway and when he gets home being like look either u move that pos now or I'm calling the tow company. synopsis:

maple already had at least 3 tickets, with the threat of having his license suspended.

per the story, maple ran away from his responsibility at that point.

mom gave maple a deadline of this past saturday to get the car off the property.

a few people have mentioned in this thread that they offered to let his car stay at their place, but maple refused.

the deadline passed, and maple's mom came through on her originally stated proposition- move the car by the deadline, or it's gone.

a wrecked car that's being parted out is not only unsightly, but in some jurisdictions you can get a ticket for having a non-running car/junked car in your front yard.

in any event, maple enters the home begins screaming, and saying he's going to sue. in his own words:

I came home was ready to get an engine hoist from my friend to pull engine and i find out my car is GONE. I go inside and FLIP OUT saying im going to sue my mom etc.

she doesn't like that, calls the cops to have him removed from the property. seems like the civil thing to do, rather than put her hands on him and try to forcibly remove him herself.

then he doesn't listen to the cops to leave the property nor the neighborhood.

finally decides to listen to their advice and leave.











maple, you were living their rent free. whether or not the car was registered in your name, it was not running and being parted out. she gave you a deadline, and you chose to ignore it. she was well within her rights to have the car removed. she doesn't have to own the property, simply rent the property. she also did not have to give you 30 nor 60 days notice, as you were not a paying roommate. unless you had an agreement on your length of stay at her house, she could kick you out when she felt like it.

while i understand you're upset, you need to be more mature about the situation, and from many of your posts, i would say you need to be more mature in life.

hopefully people that have paid for parts already will get their money back.

I agree with el though your mom gave you a set deadline (like I mentioned two pages ago) and you never lived up to it...Wayne you lose its her house and if she doesnt want another car sitting in her driveway taking up space...she can choose to do whatever she wants.
