the car starts. sounds like a subby but i know all 4 cylinders are firing bcuz if i pull the plug wire for any cylinder it will srsly try to die.
im getting code 12 and miss fire codes for cyl #1 #3 #4. ive also realized the #2 cyl is firing normally because the spark plug for that cyl has the normal ash color it should be while the other 3 are dark and smell like gas.
i went through and checked the mechanical timing as i know the auto tensioner is prone to failure
the EGR port was blocked by the previous owner. (but a faulty EGR stuck OPEN would enrich AAALL 4 cylinders not just 1 3 4)
ignition is def not a factor as if any one of the plug wires are removed it wont even run(not normal on a 4 cyl)
i just have reeeeeeealy bad luck with Hseries motors. last year i swapped 1 into a cd5 n the fuckin block cracked and started leaking on the first test drive. this year i got this shit.
