Havent been around much, juest lurking since Iv been out of the cb game. Well just recently I lost my car in a break up. Along with legal problems, times have been hard. Right now my boss is letting me drive one of his trucks. SO it helps out. But id like to get into something of my own again.
Havent wanted anything FWD since Iv had my miatas. But my old cb which I sold is still sitting here at my house. Basicaly needs a donor. But is an awesome canvass. NO rust and clean body. I was thinking of buying it back, putting in the work and using it as a super clean daily until I can afford another miata.
Whats your guys thoughts? Worth it, or should I save 2 grand or so and go put a down payment on a miata or a bike? The only way I can get financed is if I put down half. Which I dont mind much as Id like to start building credit. I have none really atm. But I believe it might get over me. Were as the cb I could put the work into it, and have soemthing I own and dont have to worry about.
Then maybe get a crdiet card and spend only 50 bucks a month and then pay off?
Im sure a lot of others are in similiar boats. Just not sure what to do. Looking to join the air force in a year or so. Got to get off probation first...
