Just the other day my wife and I was walking through the park and we went across a foot bridge. These kids were spray painting crap all over the underside of the bridge. I asked if they were painting things and they said "na man I swear to god I didn't do anything." I made them show me their fingers and they were blue with paint.

We walked from there to a Circle K and got a drink and while we were there some guy with dread locks and sunglasses with skulls on the front was stealing from the store.

The next day (yesterday) my wife went on a walk with her mom and went to the same circle K and reported someone steeling AGAIN!

This part of St. Charles is crap.

not sure why this story stands out from the million other SBS(shaken baby syndrome) cases that go unannounced daily....

oh well though...rip lil kiddo...


its a pretty common thing though, people get frustrated and finally break down while trying to deal with crying babies and resort to shaking the baby to try to stop it from crying and it usually ends in brain damage or death for the child.

I suppose this one stands out because of the totally callous way the guy just went about his business after he killed the poor child. I don't know the statistics, but I'd like to believe that anyone that accidentally kills a baby by shaking it realizes what they've done, and they at least TRY to do something to help... call 911, scream for a neighbor, etc... or at least they acknowledge that they just killed a human being, and they attempt to cover it up (also totally unacceptable... but at least they acknowledge that they've done something wrong!)

in no way am i defending them, but i guess i can see how someone whos frustrated ends up shaking a baby...the baby slowly stops crying while having internal injuries...person walks off, baby dies few minutes later.... i guess its possible that they dont realize what they've done till its to late

Yeah, I suppose... I guess some people really ARE that stupid. Chances are good that he was on drugs as well, and if someone is high enough, they may not even know what's going on. Again, same as you... not defending them.
