We lost power from 10:30-2 now it's just windy and a little rain. Seems like it's dying down now. I'm in Northern Ma.

I live in Lake Hiawatha, NJ. It's a tiny town, a hill starting West at the top and ending at the bottom East, cut North-South in the middle. At the bottom is the Rockaway River, and a few hours ago, the retaining wall keeping it from flooding lower Lake Hiawatha burst. Within an hour, two feet of water was creeping up and getting into the houses at the bottom of the town. I live four or five streets up from the river, they just released the reservoir to prevent it from bursting as well, and the police have said that it will continue to rise until 3 AM tomorrow morning. Right now, the level is three blocks down and rising. My family has already moved as many things upstairs as we can. Just waiting for a possible evacuation now

Yall need to go ahead and get out now just in case man. floods ain't no joke. Find somewhere else to stay for a while.

Most of my city has power back. But I was driving around and saw a bunch of trees fallen into someones house. But hardly any damage done to the house tho. The main place the damage was freakin trees that fell onto power lines. Have like 40 power company trucks all over.

My brother got me a room at the Hilton right now tho. Haha. He works security up here. Hopefully the power comes back on tomorrow tho. I want to be home and in my own bed.

Yeah, my new place lost power around noon and still has no power. My old place has power but all my stuff is at the new place, except the computer. sucks, now I have to go to work
