Thanks for all the input guys! Looks like I am going to end up going the route of an older used truck (probably another squarebody Chevy) because I can't get any dealer to offer enough for my car on trade-in because they say it's a "niche" vehicle, since it's a manual. I had a couple different dealers offer 9k...highest I could haggle to was 9.5k. KBB and NADA value? 12.5k. Frickin' ridiculous lowballs. I don't even want to bother trying to deal with all the scum on craigslist trying to sell privately.

I can't afford to go that low on the trade-in, so I canned the idea.

you'd be surprised with people on craigslist. ive sold a couple cars and the people dont low ball as long as they know what they are buying. the people who are just "shopping" are wasting your time.

Put a small receiver hitch on the Accord, and get a utility trailer?

exactly. I sold my 91 LX coupe CB7 for 2800 bucks. I just provided meticulous documentation on the new parts I installed, cleaned it up really nice, Took a LOT of pictures, and made sure there were no surprises . I had it posted up for about a month and someone finally came one Sunday afternoon.

            You sir, win.

I completely forgot that I actually already have a hitch on the AV6 (was on it when I bought it). Just so used to it I didn't even think about it.

Hell yeah. A trailer is cheap, compared to buying a truck! And the car will maintain some comfort, class, and fuel economy while it's not towing (and hell... while it's towing!)

There's not much that a small truck would haul that a fairly powerful AV6 couldn't pull in a trailer.

AccordWarrior can tell you all about Toyota trucks. Many of the newer ones have SERIOUS rust issues. I don't know if that'd be an issue where you are, though.

What about a Ridgeline? I have yet to hear anything bad about them... other than the fact that they look kinda funky.
