Why do German have suck crap electrical systems

i just love, the fact that most 2 wire components, use the same plugs
and wiring on a car aint too bad, most systems work on a 3 wire system
power/ground/signal, but when you check the wiring and they're all bronw
or you thought they were brown, but they're actually white, the heat go to them

Thats one of the reason why i opted to not get a BMW as my next car. I think i might go with Lexus, Infiniti or Acura.

IMO, if you can afford a NEW BMW, Benz, or Audi... they're fantastic cars. Any major problems will be covered under warranty. Once they're 3-5 years old or so, and the warranty expires... the wealthy people get new, and the not-so-wealthy take advantage of the "good deal" that is a used German car... and they get stuck with all the crap.

i find it sooo damn hard to get out of the honda brand. guess its just natural tendency to stick to the evil you know. in 10 mins i tracked down the wires and jumped power to the window motor in my fiances teg yesterday the switch went out. now if she had a bmw audi vw.....

Yea, cant afford new, ill be buying the next whip cash but I refuse to get stuck paying hefty amounts for these headache repairs. The 3 brands I listed have a better track record for the most part.

I work on Volvo's, but our dealership sells VW as well. They're much touchier...seems like every month or so I see this one couple with a mark4 tdi golf, they come in for the same thing: christmas tree dash lights!

The german's can build a car to handle well. But boy have they over-engineered some of the stupidest shit.
