What do you always carry in you car?

This could be an interesting source of ideas of everyday stuff to keep in the vehicle.

What do you always have in your car or truck?

Me personally, I just finally got a diamond plate tool box in the back of my Ram, and I already have it over half filled lol.

    I carry:
    20pc Stanley wrench set
    Extra CB Mic
Extra Firestik accesories (Bolts, washers, screws, blaaaah)
Full set of 1/4 inch drive sockets and 2 wrenches for them, with a couple extensions
    Lawn Chair (Never know!)
    Plyers
    Hammer
    Electrical tape and wire
    Knife
Work gloves and some Snap On gloves
    Nascar Whelen series fire suit
    Racing helmet
    Goggles
    Carhartt Overalls
    Spare boots
Wide variety of trailer hitches, trailer light adaptors, and pins
Surgical Clamps (Haven't needed em yet, but if Zombies ever attack, I might need em...)
    Tackle Box for fishing
Case of bottled water (rather have hot water than none at all when I'm working)

So let's hear it, folks. What tools/accessories go everywhere with you?

Not quite the answer I was expecting, but appropriate to the topic nonetheless!

You must like to kidnap ladies, handcuff them to the bed, turn the lights off, then shine the flashlight in their faces while you have your way with them all the while having the tool back pack on your back because you like the sounds they make clanking together. Then cleaning up with a towel.

Am I right, am I right?

Don't you do lots of automotive work? Ever thought about getting a long box pick up with a topper on it? Might be more convenient for you, and if you got a V6 truck gas might not be too God awful either.

I assume we all do lol, but I meant non necessities. Unless you mean like a spare tank, in which case I ask; How do you keep it from smelling up the car?

Some people have SUVs and trucks and do this.... I drive my BMW because it is comfortable and gets 26mpg.. I drive a good amount... Like 40k miles a year.. It would be thousands more to drive a truck.... (I have a 2003 v6 Ram that I will be driving when its snowing real bad though)

Yeah, an SUV would be decent because you could put a stationary tool case in the back, or with a truck you could like the top shelf tool cases along the sides, or get a couple of the side mount tool boxes. That must be a pain in the nuts trying to get what you need out of the Bimmers trunk though?

while bombing around in my suv, all i ever have is:

                              a case full of cd's
a lighter (for friends who always smoke and complain they dont have a lighter)
                              condoms
                              and my cellphone.

anything happens...i call BCAA(british columbia auto assistance) and they come and tow my car to any where i want for free if its under 25km's. after that its like a buck or 2 per km.
