The thing I cant get....is how you can dump all this money into your car....and yet not have a place to live.

Now Ive been around long enough to know what maples capable of....but I mean really at 26 how can your priorities be THAT out of wack....its as if the kid as regressed over the years....I can remember him growin pot in his dorm room....but at least he had a place to live then.

I know hes had some shit with his parents (or mom or watever) so if its really not an option to live there....then perhaps you gotta step back and look at your life...if your driving a blown up civic....and living in said civic....at what point do you think...hey somethings gotta change here.

Or...theres a part of this story we're missing here....cuz like I said...I know what maple can do....but I have a hard time believing any person who can feed themselves is willing to drop 10K into a car....yet not think that maybe I gotta find a place to live.

I think this just needs to be taken as a life lesson and passed on.

You should really talk to your parents and try and move back in with them for a predetermined amount of time such as 1 year. During that year, you should part out your car and make some money back. Look into buying a reliable stock car and find an actual residence to dwell in. Just focus on an apartment, paying bills, and car reliability.

I had my teeth kicked in on my own turbo build. I put in SO much money and finished it right before I got married. It was nice for a little while but things kept breaking and it always felt like it was "one more thing". I would probably get 1500 for the entire car but I parted it out and I've already made over 2,000 dollars and I still have the fully built bisi block to sell too.

Part it out, get some cash and stop being homeless.

i make about the same gross but the tax men eat up about a third of it and bills like RENT FOOD ELECTRIC etc etc kill nearly the rest
