Government should tax kids (instead of giving the parents tax breaks), and give couples with no kids tax breaks.
Either way, I believe there is going to be a huge world disease that will kill off a large % of the population.

Damn a lot of views in here lol.
I disagree entirely that China got it right.
Just google the horror stories that have gone on in that country because of their laws.
Ill just leave one here for you to suck on-
kidnapping is through the roof because of the pressure put on families.
So i guess if you dont mind having your children stolen, that it works out good
As far as injecting food/people with anything, that is just ridiculous.
Everyone has missed an important aspect that is in a state of decline in some ways-
EDUCATION.
While this is the most educated generation ever, and most of them are unemployed, the easiest, cheapest way to fix a problem like this is through education.
I shouldn't have to explain that to anyone, but if people understood how the government works and how to apply for jobs/do resumes/etc then i think things would work themsevles out.
For example, where my wife taught, children applying for College were sending empty envelopes to colleges.....unaware that documents are supposed to be mailed in the evenlopes.
Like what has happened to education? Children don't know what envelopes are??!?!
I do agree, that the assistance programs need reform, BIG time.
Didn't they just pass a law for welfare to be drug tested?
I love how people fight against it, but ask yourself why SHOULDNT these people be drug tested?
Ok, i guess the guy who smokes pot occasionally but needs assistance for solid reasons gets nixed but you know what that goes into another arguement for another day.
With the assistance, my stance is id rather see a few people who need it lose it then people who dont need it get it.
And as far as taxing people on kids and giving breaks to single people....really?
Why should people who want to enjoy children and raise a family get taxed but people who don't want kids get a break?
The point of life is to reproduce and continue, so people NOT having kids are just wasting space and air imo....they should be taxed.

dude your way out of line there, just because you could have kids doesnt mean you should be popping out as much as you can. that is RECKLESS REPRODUCTION. all those people you see popping out 6, 8, 12 ex..kids have no reason to need so many. we are not living in a time with many diseases killing over half the kids born in the US, nor are we working farms by hand cuz theres no machines.
also why should we give those multi-kid family so much money? who told them to keep popping out kid after kid when they can barely pay the bills let alone the soccer team amount of kids they want. I shouldnt have to pay extra taxes for people who have kids just for the hell of it.
& the population will not decline, if every family that wants kids just has one or two at most. thats still enough to keep the world growing. just not like it is now where theres barely any food to go around in over crowded areas of the worldLast edited by Night Wolf; 07-05-2011, 12:56 PM.

it's been proven time and again that the amount saved from busting the druggies would be eclipsed by the amount spent busting them.
most of the people busted would be busted for weed. cocaine, heroine, and meth leave the body quicker. it also doesn't account for alcoholics, prescription drug addicts, and otc drug abusers in the system.
as far as tax reform, i'm all for it. i believe the earned income credit for kids, as well as dependents, should go by the theory of diminishing returns. you get a tax break for them but the more you have the less of a tax break you receive. in this day and age, the traditional family structure is changing. so, that first kid and second kid aren't always planned for. so those parents definitely need that break. however, by the 3rd kid you should have it together already and be able to take care of them so you shouldn't need that big of a break.
limiting child birth due to "over population" is complete b.s., especially in america. i think it is a euphemism for something a bit more sinister. i think people are frustrated with the hard times we're enduring and have run out of good ideas. when obviously bad ideas take hold, it starts to scare me. welfare fraud isn't a huge problem as far as money problems in the u.s. go. there's government fraud (actual politicians committing fraud), medicare fraud, there's outrageous defense spending, there's a tax code that is ridiculous, etc.

natural selection rewards those who fuck, alot...
so smart, Caucasian christian married couples, who have waited till they are 30 to have a kid, maybe 2, are not reproducing as much as crackheads in the ghetto who pop out 5 babys by the time they are 24 and use all the money from welfare for the kids to by more crack and fuck.
the end is nigh unless we regulate my friends...
we hit our highest point in evolution,
these ghetto crack babys normally wouldnt survive 200 years ago, but medicine and socialism has made it possible to allow ghetto crack lovin whores to pop out as many crack-baby's as possible and our government will take care of them so we are just letting natural selection and socialism combine and its going to be the end of us.]
