i just read that this was actually a fake and he's still alive and well. It was supposedly just a joke for a new jackass or something. I'll try to find the article on it but April Margera was in on the joke too.

Man, that really is sad news. It hits close to home for me, because all those guys are from no more than 45 minutes away. I know thousands of tragic deaths occur each day, and this one just happens to be someone I've seen on a TV screen (and other than that, means no more to me than any of the other nameless, faceless people that die.) But still, it's a sad thing.

I find it interesting that all the reports say "speed may have been a factor"... No shit. He was driving a Porsche and burst into flames! If it was a VW, I'd think that just maybe it happened while idling... but it was a 2007 Porsche (pre-VW ownership.)
