Coolant Leak Where!? Weird.

D17 CIVIC MOTOR.
LEAKING COOLANT FROM REAR OF ENGINE. HEADGASKET REPLACED NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS AGO. CAR RAN GREAT 14HRS TO IMPORT ALLIANCE IN GA. ALSO GOT IT TUNED DOWN IN NC.

ON WAY BACK HOME IN CT I STARTED LEAKING COOLANT. REAR OF ENGINE. DOES NOT SEEM LIKE ITS THE WATERPUMP. ALSO ALL HOSES ARE FINE AND NOT LEAKING.

I FOUND A PICTURE OF THE BACK OF THE BLOCK PICTURED BELOW.

MY GUESS IS THAT AN 0 RING AT THAT METAL TUBE THAT GOES INTO THE WATERPUMP FAILED AND IS LEAKING COOLANT FROM THAT. IT'S MY ONLY GUESS ( I AM TURBOED AND IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT CAN BE ANYTHING ELSE BEHIND THERE.
I THOUGHT IT WAS THE INTAKE MANFOLD GASKET BUT THERE IS NO COOLANT GOING THROUGH THAT. FROM ENGINE TO INTAKE MANIFOLD SO THAT IS OUT OF PICTURE.

ANY IDEAS?

also i can't tell where the leak is coming from. Tomrrow i plan to fill it up with coolant drive it hard, then come right back and jack it up to try and see.

i'm also getting alot of oil blown out of valve cover breather.

Probably where the coolant line meets the timing belt side. If its that.

The waterpump weepage is to the left of the pcv brass fitting.

Man, you and that civic have some seriously bad luck

Good luck finding the leak man, it always sucks chasing shit like that.
