I was much more polite and helpful in my old posts.

I actually got thinkin about it today at work.....looking at my old posts (and anyone whos been around awhile) you can see the progression of this place....I mean its still is a tight knit community....but back then it was different cuz it was a whole hell of a lot smaller.

It was like the small little town where everyone said hi when they saw each other in the street....now its kinda like a big(ish) city....where the old fuckers in town hate the new people cuz they are ruining the feel.

Not quite the same....as this place is still pretty awesome.....but its weird to think back to when I first joined....I actually remember joining the site....like I remember registering.....which says a lot cuz I can barely remember my last bowel movement.....but anyways if you look at my first few topics (definition of noob) I didnt necessarily get nice responses....but if I were to do it today....good lord hold on.

I got all nostalgic and shit today at work....was a boring day.

The first time i remember seeing this site was when i read the vin breakdown and made up what i thought my brothers vin should be, then i went out and compared and i was right lol

Yeah, I remember my first couple posts. That was under a different username, in 2003. I have learned a whole hell of a lot mechanically, studied in volumetric efficiency, worked professionally in the field now, and have come a long way from back then from my ignorance. Seemingly inability to learn. It's so embarassing; it was a stupid thread, with content along the lines of "zomg'dz! intake helps with haz vtec?!". Real noob status stuff.

And there's so much more to learn, it truly is nevar ending!!!!1!!!!!

The tightknit community is still here I believe, if more within regions. But would be lost without cb7t, really I'd probably keel.
