I know there's some AVP nerds out there. C'mon you know you wanna help me out in explaining these to her:
My wife and I finally saw AVP. I have seen all the Alien and Predator movies, but she has only seen Alien Resurrection.
She understands that the alien, after leaping from the chest of the victim takes some of the form of the creature that it was implanted into, but she has the following questions:
- why was the predators killing off the humans when the aliens were the inteded prey?
- if the alien has acidic blood, how did the predator take the skull shell off the one to make a sort of shield without it melting him or the girl he gave it to?
- wouldn't sending the momma alien to bottom of the sea only put her into a sort of suspended animation instead of killing her?
- if the aliens are supposedly on modern day earth, why does it take 1000 years for them to be discovered (think Alien movie series) on another planet, and where are the Predators then?
