Xbox 360 slim or PS3 slim

I think I've narrowed down wanting a video game console to keep me somewhat occupied during these boring rainy days in Oregon. Xbox 360 slim (250GB) or PS3 slim (120GB).

Which and why.

depends on what type of games you like, both are good for their own reasons, for me personally I would say PS3 because their isn't an xbox exclusive I like, and you don't have to pay to play with your friends online even though it's only $50 a year, and you get a blu-ray player with it, plus you don't need a special HDD if you want to upgrade, but then again I dunno if you would even need to upgrade from a 250gig or even a 120gig, most games now are on both systems aside from GT5(PS3), forza(xbox), gears of war(xbox), Killzone 3(PS3), and a few others

I'd have to go with the PS3. I've owned both systems and I like my PS3 better. Hard drives are easy to upgrade if you choose to (and cheaper from what I've seen), online gaming is FREE, web browser, blue-ray. It's a great investment

yup most important thing, friends which ever system most of your friends have is teh winner haha, and yea racer_xxx xbox you have to buy a special hdd thats why its more expensive

The ShitBox is gettin sold. Forza was fun for a little bit, but GT5 is waaaaay better. Sony ftw

not gonna lie, ive stood by my XBOX for a long time but the games are getting played out on XBOX. the games i play are multi platform like GTA4 COD Battlefield, and Dirt2. i like GT5, Uncharted, and games like that and my primary friends that game own a PS3, so thats got my vote PS3 all day

I would get the ps3 slim just because the internet on it is free and there is more of a variety of things for it. The xbox is good and all but to pay for the network is a minus in my eyes personally.

I bought a 360 slim in December. Needless to say it took a big shit by the middle of January.

PS3. I know have a used 80G PS3 (one of the older models, not the slim) and it hasn't given me one problem yet. No overheating issue like the secksbox, no occasional disc read errors, etc. Plus, PSN is still free

I've had my xbox since september 2007, i had some minor problem in january 2009, sent it in and it was all better. No problems since

I hate hate hate the ps3 controller, it feels so cheap and its too small.

I've had my xbox elite since like 07-08 and I've had zero problems. I have the regular ps3 with no problems either, however, pretty much every one I know plays on Live so that's usually what I'm on lol. Ps3 is GREAT for blurays though, that's mostly what I use mine for

i have both the xbox slim and the ps3 slim and im gonna back xbox all the way ive had my ps3 for christmas and cant find a good game for it thats just me though
