Good advice Geoff, he seems like the kind of guy that needs a firearm, he was angry so he wanted to set an example by making this guy crash his car into another car, totally ignorant of anyone else in the area or vicinity.
for you

I mean, i don't really wish ill will on this guy, and i know in the heat of the moment it is hard for people to control themselves, but better he learns on here that he fucked up, then in the real world.
Thats just my rationalization.

I like how some people think on here. So if you see someone taking what you worked hard for and paid for with your own money you are suppose to just stand there and let them take it?, while you are looking for a pen and paper to write down the license plate number and remember the description of the person?
Its easier to sit there for alot of people and give the "right" advise but when you are put in that same situation will you really be using your own "good" advice?
Weather or not it was the right thing to do, atleast the OP tried to stop something from happening rather than relying on the police for everything.

Sometimes waiting for the cops takes more than a few hours when their station is 5 mins away. With all the taxes we pay I doubt that much actually goes to the police dept.

I've got no problems with the op's actions. None. In fact I would probably try something similar if I was given the opportunity.
However the grammar in this thread is awful. "some ppl know what happend in reading but i went to court today and they try to drop the charges"
It's not hard to re read what you type and see if it makes sense. There is even a "preview post" button down below.Been a long time. Still alive...

I'm not having any problems dealing with it bud, I'm just voicing an opinion, much like yourself.
