Looking for a RUST FREE low mileage CB7, could use help checking them out.

I am looking for another relatively low mileage (less than about 130,000) CB7 or CB9 for my oldest daughter who is finally out on her own, but doesn't have the time or knowledge (my fault) to select a car by herself. If I find a nice one between 130k and 200k, I would consider buying that for my other daughters still at home/school and letting the oldest have the EX in my sig.

I started out looking for newer Accords or Civics, but seems like I'd just be paying more because they are newer vehicles. Are the 5th gens as reliable/durable as the 4th? Found a few good looking 6th gens, but read a lot of transmission horror stories. I would like to find a rust free EX or LX with automatic transmission. Tan interior would be a plus (she lives in FL). Ideally one that has already had the timing belt and water pump changed (in case it doesn't necessarily pass through home here in Ohio). I have been searching the entire continental US.

Where I could use some help would be for members near where I find cars to drop by and and look them over and give an honest assessment of at least the appearance, or if you happen to find one, let me know about it.

Anyone in LA? 93 LX sedan (125k) at Autocars, 15947 E. Amar Rd, La Puenta

Anyone in Allentown, PA? 92 LX coupe (95k) at Scott Chevrolet, Cadillac, Hummer, 3333 Lehigh St., Allentown
    90 LX 4dr 5 spd 396,014 (sold 1/1/2022) - MRT: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201450
    08 Element LX FWD AT 229,000 - MRT: fleetw00d : 2008 Honda Element LX - CB7Tuner Forums

I've been having a hard enough time finding one for myself in Western Canada. They are few and far between. I'm not settling for "average" on my next one.

If they still have the one in allentown in like 3 weeks (if you havent found one already) Ill take a look at it for you and snap some pics. The junkyard I go to is right in allentown and I know right where the dealer is.

If you want rust free, stay away from the Northeast. Allentown is NOT the place to look!

If you want rust free, you got to come to the dirty souf brah. However, I do run into rusty Accords ALOT down here too but not as much as you would up north.

I know in general that's true, but you never know. It only had 95k, may have been a little old lady who didn't drive in the winter. Got a note from them this morning - it's been sold.

Thanks. If it was for me I'd consider it, but my kids don't need the H22 and bascially stock will be easier for my oldest to get serviced.

Like I say, doing online searches all over the lower 48. I found my 93 LX (rust free until recently) in KY in 2004, EX (still rust free) in Philly in 2004 and my wagon (rust free) in FL in 2009.

Go down south, in 03 I got a CB with 93K miles for $2200 from VA

Or just buy a newer car, I would want my daughter to be in something newer + safer than a 20 yr old CB. U can get a 7th gen Civic for pretty cheap

I have been looking at newer civics as well (I've driven a few and they don't feel all that substantial to me), but she's limited in what she wants to spend - doesn't want to take out a loan and has to start graduate school this summer as well. If she winds up with the EX, I don't want to have to be cramped in a Civic (6'5", 240).
