Well it's just time to get an in dash double din navi unit, that way it won't fall off and you won't have to ever reach for it, lol.

Glad to hear your ok but just be more alert, I've had some close calls too for stupid reasons and it scared the living CRAP out of me mainly because I knew exactly what I was doing that contributed to almost wrecking.
Been a long time. Still alive...

Damn Brian sorry to hear about the accident, all that matters is that your ok and the car did its job of taking the impact

Never try to multi-task while driving. You leave yourself more open for shit to happen and not having enough time to react to maneuver should a situation to occur.

The same thing for people texting,on the phone talking, eating, shaving, drinking coffe, gettin head,,letting their kids distract them, babies screaming, animals in the car that sort of thing. Atleast your safe though sucks about the car man count your blessings. Besides civics are cheap youll get another one.
Who are you, and what have you done with h22sparkle?

I totally agree. As someone that drives for a living (and has had plenty of close calls for similar stupid reasons) the best thing to do is just ignore a distraction until it's safe to correct it.

Glad you're ok, Brian. It could've been much worse!
            Time to get another CB...

I have a 8" diameter "sandbag" that my GPS suctions to and it sits very nicely on the dash just in front of the clock. Doesn't fall off and doesn't leave marks on the windshield. It also gives you a MUCH better view and is safer to program while driving. They're cheap on ebay.

Don't worry Brian, same thing happened to my tomtom- only luckily I wasn't driving when it happened. Just fell off the disc mount, and hit the shifter on the way down to the floor. Spider cracked it, luckily there was a sears' return gaurantee. Glad to hear you were ok though. If it wasn't for that damn thing you'da saved it better. Oh well no harm to you, no foul right?!

                life is good.
