What's the best type of drinking water?

I usually fill up at any water station inside a grocery store. Which is usually filtered/reverse osmosis water. Today I went to a water store down the street and they had steam distilled "drinking" water. Now, I always thought distilled water wasn't for drinking... but what the hell do I know.

I would have backed off, but while I was there, another guy was getting 15 gallons of the same stuff.

The best kind of water is boiled water. Boil it and you kill all bacteria instantly. Make sure it boils though ie you see it evaporating, then it is good. Then cool it and it will taste better than any bottled water money can buy. I'll take a glass of boiled water with a little lemon over Fiji anyday.

distilled water is good for drinking because it is pure water. just don't let it sit around too long because there is no chlorine to kill bacteria. later.

LOL distilled water is horrible to drink. Its so pure that it actually will dehydrate you by absorbing salts and minerals.

I'm actually a fan of Nestle Pure Life bottled water.

Some of the cleanest and most refreshing bottled water I've had.

it doesn't dehydrate you, it just doesn't contain naturally occurring minerals. if you get those minerals from elsewhere, there isn't a problem. later.

Distilled water has no minerals in it... which you want in your drinking water.

Also, distilled water doesn't boil. It surpasses the normal boiling point of water and does nothing UNTIL an impurity is added. Add a dash of salt or something and it'll go ballistic.

seriously, don't try it. If you do, don't say I didn't warn you.

Be fucking careful. It goes from nothing to explosive boiling in a fraction of a second.

Yep. Explosive is exactly what it is, it doesn't just boil really fast like you would think, the reaction is so powerful it's like you just opened the radiator cap on a race car after 500 laps. It's very dangerous.
