    Automotive Trivia Thread

Aiight, haven't seen a thread like this, so let's play a little automotive trivia game.

    Here's how it will work.

A question will be asked. Can be about ANYTHING related to cars, trucks, the automotive industry etc. You can give a hint to the answer.

The original question is open to be answered until the correct answer is verified, either by the OP of the question, or someone else who can verify it if the OP has not yet responded. You can also post pictures. Failing that, just quote the question you are answering.

After the first question is correctly answered, the next person to post may ask a new question and so forth. Obviously it might be easy to find answers using Google and such. This might make it more fun, trying to search for the answers, rather than knowing it off the top of your head.

Let's try and make this roll smoothly. Please, no arguing and fighting!

    FIRST QUESTION:

This car is one of the pioneers of using the front wheel drive layout.

Hint: French company, known for rather unique cars.

Nope. Looking for specific company and model name of the car. It's not Renault.

Keep guessing! Keep the "unique" cars in mind for the company.

Which car in the '50s was manufactured that was equipped with directional headlamps?

Hint- it also had hydropneumatic suspension.

Minor rule: Don't ask a new question untill the last one is answered correctly
