Boosting antenna reception

Iv always toyed with the idea of a modding an Accord antenna to get better reception. I thought about wiring up a splitter to the antenna cable and having two antennas or wiring a battery to the antenna to hopefully get better reception.

Just a thought lol im tired of losing my favorite stations when I drive through the woods.

Check out jcwhitney.com they used to sell antenna boosters, you also might look at Radio Shack or a truck stop. Hooking a battery to the antenna is just going to short the battery and maybe hurt your head unit.
