Yeah I remember when my parents would fill up the car and you could choose between leaded or unleaded. Had a completely different smell too.

I even remember those blue stamps you got for buying the gas and could save them up in booklets to get a discount and whatnot... wow now I feel old.

YOU feel old? Bite me. I remember putting it in my first three cars! AND buying hi-test for $.79 a gallon. That's right, 79 cents.

Think I'll hobble off and take my Geritol now.

Hmm, I wonder how long it's been since VT carried leaded fuels.

They have leaded at the road course, the engine seems to like it, esp on long hot days of running it around the track. also can get leaded gas at a station near and air strip.

and as for the fuel system, never heard of any cars having problems and most guys only run leaded, it would not make sense that leaded would be hell, your not burning the fuel in the system, only the engine, the lead deposits as a result of ignition, so your lines/pump/injectors should be fine... or at least have no more build up than normal gas.
