May have to sell my CB7

So long story short, ive been sick off and on for a while now, lost my last job about 2 months ago and have been waiting for my employment insurance for the last 2 months. Im currently living in a highrise apt building and am paying $1000 a month.

Ive gotten to the point where I have no money left, lost my insurance on my car and am about to be evicted because I owe $3300 in rent .

Anyway, Im thinking about selling my CB for around $1000 and I was wondering if it was worth it.

1990 Accord Coupe
300,xxxkms
5 speed
Typical rust on rear wheel wells.
Cracked windshild
Drivers inside door handle cracked
New Rad and hoses
DC Header and Mangna Flow cat-back exhaust (less then 5000kms)
Generic CAI
Replaced valve cover gasket
No leaks

Comes with new spare parts
Lower ball joints
Inner/Outter tierods

Used mirrors


Just wondering if its even worth 1000?

Not to mention im originally from Nova Scotia, moved to Calgary 3 years ago and havnt been back since, not even to visit, and in the past year my mom had breast cancer, then beat it, and now has lung cancer So I would also like to go home to see my family sometime soon.

If I had to guess my outcome I would say im not going to be able to pay my rent, have the landlord take to court, and end up having to pay a shitload in the end, and move in with my buddy that moved up here with me (live by myself now)

I already know the guy that owns the Ferrari, Ive driven it multiple times, muhahah, my old job was detailing cars :P.


Maybe I could set up some kind of donation thing for the CB7game model, I dunno, dont want to seem like im asking for handouts, know what I mean?

1000 seems alright. if anything, try selling it for $1500 OBO. that way if anyone low balls, you'll still get the $1000

Funny ive never noticed you were in Alberta, lol. I wont sell the car if I cant get at least 800 for it but I have to find out what happens today. I would need at least that much to make it worth while. If I sold it for less I would still be kicked outta my apt but then I would be without a car, lol. So if im being kicked out i would like to have a car still, lol
