Running a background check...

Bongo, a background check is not invasion of privacy by any stretch. They are typically comprised of information that is readily available from many different sources, including the court system. And even then some of these files can not be given or read because the court has sealed them for a whole host of reasons.
I am 100% behind background checks for whatever reason, but especially if you're a chick, there are a hell of a lot of crazy ass people out there.
If you think you need or want to run a check, go for it. You can never be too safe.
I'll gladly give people my name and have them search away because they will find JACK SHIT on me.

And yes Facebook gives a lot of information about the person (that's of course if they post shit).

She's like 27-29, older then me, younger then my brother. I would have sworn the way people were acting that these were 14-18 year olds. What makes it even better is the fact there are kids in the picture as well...

This is true, but still doesn't seem right to me. As far as being "butthurt" ...I am not. If people ask me personal questions that I object to I tell them to mind their business. If they keep bugging, I start asking them their personal information and they usually leave me alone real quick. Some people mess up when they're young and don't want it following them for the rest of their life but it's becoming impossible to shed any bad reputations no matter where you go. maybe I'm just getting old and times are changing...however I don't consider 23 to be old.

There are people out there who hate being asked questions or who feel that even asking them what they ate for breakfast is invasion of privacy. Times ARE changing and even I, at 26, can feel my "youth" slipping away. Kids these days dont know how good they have it, how easy they have it, and in the words of the great Sunburn, "I weap for the younger generations..".

As for Facebook and all that jazz, what you allow to be seen is up to you. You can even hide certain things from your friends. It's all up to you. If you honestly think about it, the average person posts pictures of themselves, their birthday, where they work, where they live and in most cases, their last name, so yes, finding someone would be easy. Finding their criminal record, i dont know about that. Depends on the state and your searching skills.

Thanks Dom I don't have a damn thing to hide so good luck with the squeeze. Like I had originally stated. It is invasion of privacy IN MY OPINION. Not yours. If you need to get a persons total history and past without them knowing, that, to me is going behind their back. wether it be easy to do so nowadays or it be involved like before, it's still not right IN MY OPINION. not yours. You def won't find me researching a persons info. If I have a question about it I ask them. If they don't want to share..then it's nothing that concerns me. That is their business.
