iPhone 4/4th gen iPod touch wifi issues

I was wondering if anyone here has had the same issues I'm having now.

My father owns an iPhone 4 and I own the new iPod touch. We both use the wi-fi at the house, but when we do, my computer cannot connect to the Internet. It'll search for the signal, connect for a few seconds, then drop.

What's the issue? Anyone know?

Think it's my wireless adapter? It's one of those USB sticks (Belkin)
