j series have hood clearences problems because mount kits are made assuming the car will be lowered, so axles can be even

with that being said, 90% of honda owners axles aint straight
      mines being one of them

j-series swap doesnt mean you have to cut the hood, just get a different mount kit, and problem solved, the only problem you'll have is axle angle
and if you ask me it aint nothing im worried about

who cares if CL front and rear motor mount make a j32 fit in the CB platform and the hood closes..........

I feel like he just has a bunch of frankenfucked hondas missing motors. Why not take what you can get for those cars and buy something nice?

Hey now, I give him some credit for at least doing what people on here will talk about for 20 pages and never even come close to trying. I agree that he chose the wrong motor though. I wonder if the YA1 CL front + rear cross members will fit our cars...

the front will, but the back wont

swap motor mounts and you are good, but then again
so much people that will dissagree using j series front and rear mounts
"why not get hasports, or other ones, that motor has too much torque, thats why they fuckup the auto trannys"

and like most people here would want to do cant, and those who can, dont have the money or the time to do, i can only help those who have the money, and help them save some too

the guy with the white accord says he has over 6k in the motorswap it self
pressing the log out button and researching does wonders
there are plenty of people who have these motors, front end collisions, insurance totalled, and becoming a good friend to people who pull motors at JY its awsome, whenever you wave 1200 cash in their faces, they knees tend to weaken
                    with 2000k everything gets covered
front clip, exhaust, axles, oil, coolant, beer, etc
and can be done in a week.period

For 2000K, you could probably buy every CB in America

But yea I hope 2011 is a year of less posting and more doing. A light VIP style J swapped auto CB would be a cool sleeper.
