    So i just bought/rode a 600cc

And these things a friggen scary/shit in my pants fast.

It was the first time Ive ever ridden a 600, and coming from a 250, you actually have to hold on when your accelerating past half throttle.

:shivers:, from the speed and the cold

It's funny how average cruisers will be over 1000... but you get those lightweight, half-plastic crotch rockets, and 600 is enough to turn the crotch of your Dockers a darker shade of brown...

Coming up from a 250cc bike i think he will be good for a while... I have riden on a 600cc bike a couple of times and I loved it. I prefer the GSXR 750. Great balance and comfortable ride quality.

lol so great. I want a 5/600. If you're comparing a 600 crotch rocket to a 1200 harley, the 600 will smoke the harely lol and idle alot better too. Imo that's a perfect size bike. Although an 1100 would be SICK!

You say that now but then you're going to want to get on a Haybusa.

            =p

I've been on the hunt for a Zx7r for a little bit now.

The only motorcycle i would ever ride would be those WW2 ones with a side car.

meh, there is much more to a bike than going fast in a straight line. any idiot with a bike can do that. i wann learn to actually ride it, take corners and so forth.

many experienced riders/racers say that anything more than a 600 is actually harder to handle and slower on the track/twisties.

True for the most part. But I tend to think that is subjective. For instance within the same CC class you'll find that some bikes tend to be different in physical size and their handling properties will change, one example is the CBR600F3 it's known to be one of the heavier bikes. Yet you'll get on something else and you'd find it to be smaller and lighter, as well as being easier to handle. Then we have something like the Yamaha R1, which is really quite small for its class and it shows because that bike has a tendency to lift the front end with mild acceleration.

Some people will say they like bikes that are proportionate to their size, Somebody who is 6'5 and 250lbs would feel that generally a 600cc bike would be to small for them.

Now we come to the Haybusa,With all that taken into account no doubt it is a physically larger bike, but is known to handle well for its size. On the track sure you'd want something perfectly balanced with size/power/ handling capabilities but on the street how many turns will you be apexing at excessive speeds.

I think it's all about finding the right bike for the specific rider, each one has its own pro's and cons and they vary depending on who you ask.

I agree with you on just about everything except one thing.

Im not all that knowledge on bikes yet, but the one consistent thing ive heard about hyabusa's is that they are slobs when it comes to handling. Its kinda like a supra.

they are a lot of fun yo . i had a 98 900RR in 2001-03 and it was highly modified, as a result to a worn back tire and mid-summer rain , i almost lost my life . got a broken/ modified chest . almost got ran over by a car and was not speeding when this happen. i fixed it along with my pop and sold it to a adult rider and he sold it weeks after buying. hope you be careful even if you are a seasoned rider. shit happens and i try to stay out of shits way.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

hayabusa's are mad I recall a guy stopping in the middle of a freeway.
cars just going by him. he then pops a mono/wheelie with the rear tire smoking for a fair distance. and is out of there. i was crossing a bridge going over the freeway at the time on foot.
he obviously had trust in it's handling.

I want a 600. 588 to be precise. if these guys enter motogp in 2012 as claimed. I will have a new bike racing interest.
