Need Help On Computer At Home....?

Ok, anyone here VERY good with computers because i need some help.
my wife (got dammit) change our password and now she cant remember what the hell it is so we cant log on.

we're stuck at the CHoose user screen.
any way i can find out the pass word, by like pressing one of the F keys when the computers starting up????

cause if not.....we're shit out of luck

what windows are you on?..

try entering safe mod and see what you can do from there.

and if you have XP while in safe mod, you should be abe to long in as admin and change passwords.
password for admin should be admin, or password i believe

other OS, i'd say give it a shot by just trying to get into safe mod regardless


other than safe mod, try to log in as administrator or just admin and type in one of those passwords.

ouch...that sucks. good luck. try starting in safe mode (f8 at startup)? mabye you can change it through control panel>users. someone on this site has to have a history in hacking lol

Take it to comp usa they should know how.

ok then if you have xp, admin should be able to change passwords and what not...good luck...let us know if it worked.

You should also be able to find instructions online about how to reset all the passwords in XP.
