Where is your wife from, Matt?
I assumed that since you moved to Canada, it was because she was from the area you moved to.

I know he did an exchange student thing in Finland... Now I'm curious!

Man, this site makes me feel lame... Here I am talking to guys who have lived in multiple countries, even if just for a short time... and I've never even taken the 8 hour drive up to the Canadian border! I have never left this country. I don't even think any of the domestic flights I've been on have even circled out over international waters!

She's got dual citizenship - Canadian Fin. She lived in western Ontario, went to school in Toronto, moved to Japan, and now we live in Peterborough. We're here so that she can go to school. So, yeah, no contacts in the area.

Try auto detailing... Find Paul Dalton and tell him to hire you!

No but seriously I was unemployed for 8 months, fortunately got a job as a detailer. On top of working at the shop, Im able to detail on the side and make more money... Check to see if there's any detail shops around you.. Try for a job, hopefully land it, get some professional skills and use that to maybe detail on weekends and take all the profit from those details

My resume, as of now, is at least 75% IT related but I never finished with a degree in IT or any certifications. I think that's what's hurting me at this point. The rest of my resume is a mix of sales and marketing. I do have a degree in Business Management (concentration in marketing) so that's going to have to be what I start pushing.
