    Fun Honda Project Game

Hi all, I was just poking around on a few Honda forums, and I've decided I would love to build something that's not an Accord, so lets have a little fun and have a game.

The idea is to describe a Honda you would build, that's NOT an Accord of any type. The catch is you only have a theoretical amount of 6000 to spend including the cost of the car. Be realistic in your pricing. No $10 deals. What would you do to the motor/wheels/suspension.

    Part Price

1991 Honda CRX Si (Black on Black) 1500
Integra GSR Fat Fives w/Falkens 400
    D16z6 500
    Greddy Turbo Kit 2500
    Greddy SP2 450
    Neuspeed Race Springs 140
    Neuspeed Koni Yellows 500
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Total Cost: 5990

That would be a car that would handle great, be really quick, and look really good doing it.

OK heres mine and I just did this in real time so check out this link I found

    Pricing

    Acura Integra $2,988
    Nippon Clutch Kit $272.00
    Fireball Dual Exhuast Kit $129

    Master Turbo Kit $649
    Master Turbo Headers $299

    Spearco Intercooler 24x10x3 in Intercooler= $499

    35mm Wastegate $179

    Vortech FMU $159

    Apex-i V-AFC/S-AFC Fuel Controler $329

    Neuspeed Sport Springs $239

Even though it wouldn't have the greatest handling capabilites of a Crx on a budget..it would be a great weekend racer at the track

With $5,742 left in my 'pocket' I'd have $258 left enough to buy myself a set of these Strut Bars

Ebay is truly a mans best friend (second to the dog)

    Truely Ballin on a budget

Righteous (sp?) weekend warrior and sleeper car...

Nice little game you got for us Mike haha it was cool just to pass time researching stuff

didnt mean to call you out like that but....

i agree w/ you on the 92-93 Integra. I havent really put much thought into it but i would def LOVE to boost the LS motor w/ mild internal work

possibly even an LS/VTEC build-up instead of boost, but i can dream cant i

as for appearence wise, the JDM one piece headlights is a must. the look of those really set off the front end

but seriously, my mind set of lately has been accords w/o a doubt

Yeah its cool man I didn't take any offense to it. I had a buddy of mine from highschool who had a red DA that car was awesome even though i never rode it in for the matter he did some pretty handy work to it..but it being a red car it was always subjected to pull overs.

He took the wiper blades off the front and rear and always waxed the window..he later sold it the last time I saw his car.

And yeah we cant take our minds off these CB7s cant we lol but I found a really cool site for turbo parts that you can snag on a budget as opposed to buying a complete kit.

I'm no noob, and I'm gonna screw with the rules myself

I know you said no Accords, Mike... But I wanna build an Accord for under $6000 (because I AM doing it!). Here's a rough outline of the 3G that I have planned.

                          1986 Accord LX-i - $800
                          CB7 Coilover suspension - $40
                          KYB Shocks - $160
                          1989 A20A engine - $100
                          Aftermarket forged pistons - $500
                          Rods - $400
                          Engine management system - $500
                          Headwork w/valvetrain upgrade - $800
                          3" exhaust system - $500
                          Custom turbo header - $400
                          FMIC - $400
Turbo setup (turbo and piping) - $800
                          Upgraded clutch - $500
                          ------------
                          $5400.

The rest can be spent on injectors, fans, pumps (water, fuel, oil).

                          -post edited, thanks Henry!-

this is off the top of my head but here goes:

                              - 1976 Civic hatchback - $100-200
                              - built n/a b20vtec - $2500
                              - suspension - $300
                              - 14/15" panasports - $800
                              - custom work $1000.
                              - racing seats - $200
                              - custom brake setup - $500
                              - misc things needed - $500.

total = $6000. i think i did the math right. blah. oh well. talk about putting 210 whp in a 1,000 lb + chassis. haha.
