That M9 is like, the definititive pistol in terms of looks. If I had to draw what I imagined a pistol to look like, that would be it. Kinda makes me want one.
All of them are pretty solid, with the exception of the Saw which jams frequently but then again it shoots like 350 rounds/ min so it is expected.
It is just used for suppressive fire.
yea its getting replaced soon anyway. The marines went with the IAR and im sure the army will soon follow. The insurgents are getting smart and targeting auto rifleman in the squad because they know it lays down the firepower. The new IAR looks more like a M4 so its harder to tell.
Pretty sweet. Was this with military personel or is someone fortunate enough to personally own a SAW?
Deev, you can own an M9. M9 is the military name but to us civies it's the Beretta 92FS. A lot of people are on the fense about the 9mm round and think the US should have kept the 1911 .45 cal. It's no real big surprise to me though because the 9mm vs .45 debate is just the same as the 5.56 (M16 round) vs 7.62 (AK47) round. The US doctrine wanted better accuracy at longer ranges and the ability to carry more lighter weight ammo rather than less heavier ammo.
Pretty nice though. I'd like to see you post photos of your groups though
id assume army since someone is wearing acus. the saw i carried and a collapsible buttstock and a shorter barrel though. oh and it had a piccatiny rail(sp) on it.
Thought this was funny. Those three are the backbone of the US Infantry. Only one is an American design. Without looking, who can A). tell me which is the US design and B). where the other two are from?
