For my English class I"m supposed to ask ten people this question:

Which one is right? and why?
1. Between you and I...
or
2. Between you and me...

Its "Between you and I", I cant really explain it but all through elementary school through COllege, its been told to me that "you and me" dont go together. Its always "I"

But your stating that to somebody besides Joey and yourself and, it isn't a direct statement to Joey.

You wouldn't tell Joey; Joey and I are going to the beach. Would you?

You would say You and I are going to the beach.

Which makes me think that You and I is the correct statement.

Isn't me used when your talking about possesions and belongings.

It belongs to me. compared to It belongs to I.
