Agent Bork: Chief, you know that guy whose camper they were whacking off in?
Agent Fleming: Bork, you're a Federal Agent. You represent the United States government. Never end a sentence with a preposition.
Agent Bork: Oh, uh... You know that guy in whose camper they... I mean, that guy..off..in..whose camper they were whacking?

^^^lol! Reminds me of Kevin of Kevin & Bean on KROQ.

        So here's another one.

I and my friend went to school.

yeah, yeah. "I" would never be first, but my teacher said, "Suppose you always put yourself first because of your high ego."

So would it be correct to say "I and my friend..." or "Me and my friend..."?

        Answer will come later.

        Extra:
Aladdin at the cave of wonders
        Cave: Who disturbs my slumber?
        Aladdin: It is I, Aladdin.

Beauty and the Beast after the last petal falls:
        Beast: Belle it's me.

        Which one is correct?

Haha...my true English love is spelling. I have a love/hate relationship with grammar.

Ego never trumps proper grammar. If your ego is that big, using improper grammar shows your ignorance. But in this case, I would say that "me" SOUNDS better, but I think that "I" would be correct.

For the extra, The Beast is correct. If Aladdin had not added his name, it would also be correct, but since he did...

                  Great IDEA

Deev, we should make a grammar sticky to point people to when they use awful grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Also a list of banned words and examples of why.

Things like, " I just bought new ebay headers for my f22"

Also, and this is a personal pet peve of mine, the word ,"mang." It just makes no sense I mean most of the time I am ok with making words shorter, but you added a freaking letter to a 3 letter word, you made it 33% longer.

Just a thought, especially since most of the people who refuse to write correctly wouldn't read it anyway.

She and I are going out (I am going out)

Although, generally you would use "we" or "us" in these cases, but it still works.
that is how my high school english teacher told me to remember it...course I still get it wrong from time to time
