Most of us americans on this board thought that "Mad Max" was a documentary, so we have no idea what you are talking about.

      Lol.

Bathurst is one of the greatest races.
      Ford VS Holden V8 supercars.

Very unfortunate opening lap though. Its great to see Fabian Coulthard walked away from this (happened 30 mins ago) crash at 280km/h.
Crash was caused by a minor tap on the starting line which damaged the L/R tyre.

Currently at lap 15 of 161

I wish I got coverage of it here!

Falcon, Falcon, Commodore, Falcon, Commodore, Commodore...

From what I can find, Vauxhall hasn't had a car in the race since 99... which was also the last year I can find any info of Nissan having anything in there as well (a Primera.) I assume these aren't included as V8 Supercars, though. I've done very little research on it at the moment.

No just Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores.

Correct, '99 was the year that it went explicitly V8 supercars only.

Nissan actually didn't last very long with their GTR's simply because they were too fast with Turbo and 4WD.

You from Auz, or just watch it online?

Edit: The video has been pulled, Apparently Telstra owns the rights to the video, even if its a live televised event.
I will reload it as soon as a new one comes up.
