For you people who've seen "Hamlet" or read it..

in western humanaties II.. we are discussing Hamlet and stuff right now. i tested out of humanaties I and they read the entire play and watched both versions of the movie in there. i really dont have the time to watch them or read the play.. so if you people who know a good deal about it can help me here, i'd apprecaite it!

this is about the part of when hamlet dies and such.. i'm typing the next part directly from my paper.

You are a criminal attorney. Select a character from Hamlet who has committed (allegedly or otherwise) a crime. State the crime and specify whether you are the prosecutor or the defense attorney for this invididual. Having identified that:

    a) Who is your star witness? What are some specific questions (at least three) you will ask and why?

    b) What is the key quotation in the play you will use (note the Act, Scene, and Lines)?

    c) In one powerful paragraph, what is your closing statement to the jury?

if i knew anything about the play or movie, i wouldn't have as much of a problem.. but since i tested out i didn't have to do it.

any help is appreciated, thanks guys

are you talking about the death to king hamlet that occurs before the play starts or prince hamlet's duel?

Lets see, I'll add a little info to this then:

Hamlet killed Polonius, because he thought it was Claudius. It was done in Gertrude's bedroom. So you have your key witness: Gertrude.

You have criminal intent involved too because of premeditation eventhough he was going for Claudius.

Go read that scene. There's plenty in that one little peice.
