Nope lol, we didnt have a spare and the threads were ok, we took a wire brush and cleaned it up real good then put some anti-seize grease on it and reinstalled it.

Yeah it was real luckly because it would have put the whole swap on hold which would have been a pain in the dick

When i was turning it it required ALOT of force, it felt like it was turning but i didnt see it turn, then it started to turn. It took alot but it came out

I remember when you first started posting, and I figured you were a typical kid (ie tard). Then through some miracle of some sort, you started posting useful helpful info which led me to believe you were a smart kid (ie smartard).

And then there's this. Disappointed poster is disappointed.

That's REALLY not a good idea....those bolts are a few bucks.

                From where? Honda directly?

I dont see why its a bad idea, its a bolt, a solid peice of metal that threads into a nut to hold the strut in place

If the threads were ok then why does it matter?

It's a hardened bolt. The force required to twist it created tremendous heat inside the bolt allowing the molecules to let loose slightly and thus letting the bolt twist (hardened steal doesn't like to twist). The heat more than likely weakened its hardness, you might be fine, you might not. Better to be safe than sorry, especially when talking about chassis components.

I don't know how well versed you are in chemistry and metallurgy but this is 100% accurate.

So id def get a new bolt.

I would get a new one...you don't want to go through that painful process again all over a couple of bucks do you? Or at least go to the Pick N Pull and get a nice used one lol
