I'm curious - Who the hell is DFM, Honda's Father?
Because Sōichirō Honda started his own company "Honda", and Honda today still owns itself as far as I knew.Last edited by evil_demon_01; 09-07-2010, 04:33 AM.

DFM is DongFeng Motors. Chinese.
The green line shows a joint venture, though, not ownership. Honda may be working with DFM, but neither owns part of the other company.
As for Rovers... the only Rover/Honda combinations I'm aware of are mainly Honda products, slightly reskinned and rebadged as Rovers. That, or cars that were basically based on Honda designs, but significantly altered by Rover (and offered with a collection of engines that consisted of half Honda, and half Rover.) I don't believe any Hondas were ever rebadged Rovers.
