Yeah, the last batch of Suzukis were Daewoos... Reno, Verona, and Forenza.

No more, though! The SX4 and Kizashi are true Suzukis. Those two models really give me hope for the brand. Suzuki has always made pretty decent cars, but they've always been a minor player in the market.

This is what happens when I run a search on this forum -- I get distracted, wander onto other random threads, learn something random and forget what I was really doing.

That's one crazy family web of step children, distant cousins and crazy in-laws...

I'm curious - Who the hell is DFM, Honda's Father?

Because Sōichirō Honda started his own company "Honda", and Honda today still owns itself as far as I knew.

              DFM is DongFeng Motors. Chinese.

The green line shows a joint venture, though, not ownership. Honda may be working with DFM, but neither owns part of the other company.

As for Rovers... the only Rover/Honda combinations I'm aware of are mainly Honda products, slightly reskinned and rebadged as Rovers. That, or cars that were basically based on Honda designs, but significantly altered by Rover (and offered with a collection of engines that consisted of half Honda, and half Rover.) I don't believe any Hondas were ever rebadged Rovers.
