Cali guys how do you do it?

I just got done reading Cali CARB laws and that is a crazy mess of crap you guys got to put up with. Please tell me your secret to putting up with those laws. Its almost like you can only make you guys' CB's good looking not a whole of lot of engine mods....

It's Cali emissions, almost every modder is built and don't care for emissions, there are those that get state bar'd only to build a street motor and then there are those that just built and pray that they don't get pulled over.


If they get pulled over it's a state ref ticket. We just swap a stock motor in go to state ref to runn a emission's test pass and swap back to the street motor or pay the 500+ fine

All I know is that the only way you don't get pulled over and get ur hood popped open is if ur car is a sleeper lol

and then there are people with friends that do smogs

as long as you have all you're paperwork to show you're swap and whatnot is legal, and set up you're engine with quality equipment that meets requirements to pass smog then you're good it's not all that hard to do. And having a friend in the smog biz does help.

if you've seen the eibach meets here youd be amazed at the engine setups and how alot of these guys dd the cars.

the secret? well you'd have to live in cali to find out.
