What an asshole...never sell anything through a forum.

I sold a guy my ACT 2600 clutch when I was having tranny issues. I went with another clutch and this one was almost brand new. The guy lives in Canada and it cost me over $50 to send it because it had to go air mail. And at 16 pounds, it was no joke.

So he kept saying he didn't get it he didn't get it and goes and gives me a negative feedback rating on the forum (you can give + / - feedback for rating transactions). He says that he never got it and I never sent it and shit.

First off I was selling it for $150 and he said well can you sell it for $135. I said OK...not knowing shipping was going to cost so much. I only made $85 off the clutch and it was a $450 clutch setup (disc and pressure plate). I had told him I will refund you partially because I don't know that you did or did not receive it. Told him I would take $50 off of the remaining balance since that was actually MY $50. So he would only get $35 back. Piece of shit never replied and just negged me. Pisses me the fuck off.

No it wasn't this forum. Was a DSM forum. Should've known better to sell to this asshat anyways, he had 1 post since January of 2005....funny thing is, he didn't file with paypal trying to get his money back so he must have gotten the clutch.

When I went to the post office they said that I couldn't do delivery confirmation because it was international. I never sent anything international so I didn't think to ask twice.

you can get delivery confirmation on ANYTHING you send. no matter where its going. who ever told you that was either too lazy to do the few clicks on the computer to get it for you or just didnt know what they were doing.

looks like you just made some bad choices and it backfired on you in all honesty.. ive shipped to canada one time and with all the issues i went through and money i lost, im never doing it again... you made the choice of how much to let the guy have the part for, so thats on you.. and yes, there is always a way to verify that a package is delivered whether its in the US or international..

If the post office said they couldn't do a tracking number, I'd have gone to UPS or FedEx.

But yeah... that's why buying and selling online is a risk.

they could have but couldnt do regular delivery confirmation. You have to pay extra for tracking number....he rolled the dice and lost. I use to send stuff to Canada via usps and i always get a tracking number just because.

Yeah Airmail sucks big donkey penis. I've waited well over a month after ordering something from Hong Kong and it still isn't here. I finally gave up and called the company who said they would reship the items which meaning i'll have to wait another two to three weeks.

For all i know, it's probably sitting on a shelf at Customs or something...

Apparently its different shipping from the US....but all the times Ive shipped shit to the US they give me a tracking number cuz its just included (shipping via canada post)....It may not give delivery conformation but you can see where it is and if it got to the final destination post office.

Ive never had to send anything via air mail either....and I shipped a F22B head down to some dude in florida.

Sounds like you got fucked by the post office too.

The thing is, I already went to Fedex and UPS first. Fedex was the cheaper of the two at $120 bucks and that went air...they told me there was no ground option to where it was going. USPS told me the same thing, no ground option, all had to go by air.

I wonder if there is a flat rate option for international LOL....wouldve saved me quite a bit of money. All I know is...never again will i sell anything international, even if they are a neighbor country.
