oh i actually posted in that thread. when i first read it i was a bit put off. i did not think he meant it to be racist but you are right i am sure a lot of people were offended by that post.

Yeah, believe it or not, he DOES know what he's talking about, and he has enough sense to say when he's not sure. There's a reason I put up with him when he's a pain in the ass... He's been a good member of this forum for many years.

The ban is not permanent. It is for a week. If his comment was an outright attack on someone, or if such behavior was a regular thing, THEN it would be permanent (or in the recent case of one member that was banned for a week... coming back with another name results in a permanent ban.)
