    Honda ECUs merely require a chip to be soldered in, or a socket that will accept the chip (so it can be removed easily.)

    It's the programming that is difficult, not the physical act of "chipping". Nobody has broken the code for the Accord and Prelude ECUs, so they aren't tunable. If you break the code and write a program to support it, sure, it can be done. But those things have already been done for the Civic and Integra computers, and we're able to use those with no problem.

    Jet may have, yes... and those are the only things you really have control over with the Accord and Prelude ECUs anyway!
