    Even with a new car, I miss my CB

    Yup. That $800 I spend on my SE was probably the best $800 I ever put towards a vehicle. And then joining here and starting the mod madness.

    My Accord was my first venture into the Honda world and after a being a Honda basher for years, I eat all those words and I'm a hooked Honda guy for life now. Well, second to Mazda.

    Even now with my '05 Mazda 3, as much as I (currently) love it, I'm always going to hold a soft spot for my Accord.

    If I ever get the chance to pick one up again, I probably will. I'd love to build another one. Actually, I'd really like to have mine back.

    I can't beleive I traded it for a stupid ass Volkswagen. What the hell was I thinking?

    I'll never ever find one as clean again. I shoulda kept it. But so is life and it must go on.

    I usually leave most forums after I sell a car, but this has been one of the best communities I've ever joined, so that's why I stick around, and especially to help out. I may not post as much, but I'm still around.

    Thanks to everyone for all your help and guidance while I built my car. Wouldn't have turned out the way it did without this place.

    Went from this;

    To this in 5 months;

      Congratulations! Now you're in the club of people that hang out here for years, even after moving on from the CB. We are kind of like the old creepy guys with porno 'staches that hang around high schools to stare at the new batch of young girls

          Creepers. lol, I feel awkward staring at HS girls and I'm only 19.

          But on topic the CB really turned into something good while you had it.

                  If you still miss your car that means your upgrade was not big enough.

                    No, it wasn't a huge upgrade at all, but the Mazda was exactly what I want/need in my current situation.

                    Reliable,practical,fun and sporty.

                    The Accord was all of those, but because it was paid for, I was spending too much money on mods.

                          My CB is just sitting in the Accord with the hood open. I just don't have the money anymore to work the kinks out of the brake system since converting it to ROH.

                          After trading my in truck for an '09 Civic, the only thing i did to that was replace the stock halogen bulbs with PIAA bulbs that i bought a while ago for the Accord because i thought i would be driving that around right now instead.

                          I would love to start working on my Accord again but only if i had the money. Anything thing that may be keeping me from finishing it is that my younger brother wants it after i'm done. Fat chance buddy... i've bled for that car so i'm taking it to the grave with me.

                            my car is currently pushing 305k on the body and suspension bits. Im all about just keeping up with the basic maint now because at this point Im debating whether or not to give in and buy a truck sometime next year...I dont know if I would ever part with the coupe seeing as that Ive only owned it for 8 months.

                            Im getting older and my choices well....Im starting to make sensible ones. I need a reliable daily driver..that I can actually save money on...Accord is a great car but once it starts to age...it burns a hole in your wallet.
