By the way, VDO makes the speedos for Volkswagens. Other german cars too I believe.

yeah most car manufacturers use other companies to make their comonents for them. ns, denso, alps, alpine are some of them for our accords. don't forget the infamous stanley who makes our lighting happen. even enkei gets up in the mix with their wheels! nissin and akebono comes in with their brakes. there is prolly even more! kyb (aka kayaba) makes our stock shocks?
