You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

mmm, NG900. Great cars, but only the SE's. If it is the n/a, stay away from the slushbox!

overall, as with any other rig, if you keep up on the maintenance it will provide you many years of DD service, if that's it's purpose. They're kinda heavy. I know the 9000 has a solid rear axle, does the 900 as well? i see some 9-3's around here for about a grand, there was even a 9-3SE coupe, which gotta love that body style. a lot of people think they look horrible, mainly i'm talking about the old-school ones (up til 93), but they're perfect swedish ingenuity.

    life is good.

my dad had a 93 with over 200K and it was ok. i liked the look of the older saabs but they werent of the best quality. his was a turbo and that was whistling a song of death by the time we were done with it. it was pretty good maintanence wise, no major problems until the turbo was gone i guess. the 5-speed was a little rough, but that was the fgirst car i learned how to do it so it wasnt too too bad. good car in my opinion, just wasnt a fan of it.
